Hi all. June 25, and I am still missing my Ollie dog. Thinking of getting one, thinking of the work involved, and not being at all sensible about it. It gets COLD here in winter, and here I am thinking of getting another dog, who has to go OUT at night. Am I nuts?

And the vet bills, And the barking... And the pet sitter needs.... because dogs are nearly people.

Knitting up the grape socks that the Yarn Harlot did a few months back. Boy is that a hard pattern. Right now I am making the 16 leaves that adorn the top of the cuff. It's a toe up sock, and that's even hard, as it has an unusual cast on.http://www.nysfarm.com/vintage.htm is where you can get the Vintage Grape sock kit from Tsarina. but it's been hard for me to decipher, so I am taking it moment by moment. I am doing the leaves now, and finally feel ok doing them.

As for getting another dog, or puppy, or grown up dog... I think we'll wait, and see how we all feel in a few months. The cats are saying.. "Aren't we DOG enough for you Mom??"
