Good afternoon all. I have just come in from filling the feeders. Already, the little birds have been coming to the feeder, as the mornings are cold, and they are beginning to enjoy the seed almost as much as I enjoy watching them eat.

Remy, our new puppy, got a mouthful of BURR yesterday, which necessitated a trip to the vet, and some medication, as the poor pup had tried to swallow the burr, and the sharp ends were in his throat.... silly pup for trying to swallow that.

Silly me for not removing them from our yard. Silly me losing $200 at the vet. What else to do?

Sigh.

I just finished a Kauni hat for a baby friend of ours, yet to be born... got that off in the mail today.... should have taken a photo..but the kauni yarn is really pretty...changing colors subtlely, and I lined the brim of the little checked hat with orange baby wool..

Having a tea party tomorrow for all the moms and babies I've been working with during the past few months. Should be a really nice morning.
