There were several who sent checks,...it's many of the steady page readers who donate from year to year, friends...who did so..and some new faces...thank you. We have paid off the next two years of BlueHost hosting for the pages.

12/21 SNOW! Bellringer's Molasses cookies=Wool donations for mom in need still welcome....12/21, When it is snowing a LOT, and more is forecast, and you are only 9" tall, like Remy, you worry about getting your bodily functions taken care of. If Dad throws you outside into a drift, you may never come out again, for Heaven's sake...that is why we have to get outside this morning and SOON, to stamp out a path for the pup to get out to do his morning ablutions! Or else he may never return. We have a foot of new snow, and more forecast for Sunday/Monday. Tiny dogs and major snowstorms...hmmm.
12/17 Christmas knitting package for one in need? help if you can?12/17 I have a friend who is a single young mother of one little child....she works hard, but finds herself struggling still in this economy. She is an avid knitter, and I have sent her some Kauni wool for a Christmas gift. When I told her this, she said that she was so very excited, because this would be her only gift under the tree that she didn't put there herself. Apparently her family of origin in not in the picture, well, you know how that can go. Families are hard sometimes, and this mom lives in low-income housing, and works very hard, but is on a very low fixed income.
12/16 Recipes- Christmas pudding, hard sauce12/16 We are in the throes of baking, and knitting here, and thank you all for the donations that are slowly coming in to add up to our $200 bill for BlueHost. I am making Kauni hats, with wool that is from Estonia. A while back, the Harlot was knitting and talking about them....Here is a place to look at the neat hat patterns... http://funknitspatterns.blogspot.com/2008/03/knit-hat-ruth-srensen.html
12/11 Thank you, and a lovely poem12/11 thank you for the donations that are coming in. We are a little over half way there when it comes to paying the Blue Host bill of $200. Thank you for the donations. Anyone wishing to help me pay this bill so that we can keep our pages going, please send us a PayPal donation in any amount...small is fine. KBruce@together.net. We do appreciate it. If you want to send it snail mail, we are at: Kathleen Bruce 1937 New Year Greeting The earth feels old tonight And we who live and stand on the cold rim Face a new year.
12/4 Blessings, and thanks.12/4. I knew I could count on you all. Thank you for going above and beyond the call of duty. I know you donate to the Young Writer's Project, and now you are coming along and giving me extra to cover the cost of our host, BlueHost..which is $200/2 years. THANK YOU! I am off to Maryland tomorrow to see Martha play violin in the U Maryland orchestra. It is only the second time we've heard her play. The next will be her senior recital, and the last of her college career...April 24. Time flies.
12/3 Another donation, and Paypal is so easy.... and Signature needles, at http://www.signatureneedlearts.com/12/3. Thank you so much for the donation, to my second donator. She suggested that Paypal would be the way to go to help me cover the costs of the pages.... My Paypal is kbruce@together.net. I will be getting a direct link on here to that as soon as I can. But for now, KBruce@together.net is my account. Thank you for whatever you can afford.
12/2 One donation in of $25, $175 to go12/2 Hi all. I see that my credit card was definitely charged for $200 the other day. It's gone from my account, and I cannot, read definitely CANNOT, afford it to come out of my own money. I volunteer to keep these pages running, and am very happy to do so for the fiber community. However, I can't do this on my own, and I need this money to pay this bill within a week or two. Please...guys. I thought that I would have this in the bag by mentioning it...as I have in the past.
11/29 Blue Host Bill is in for $200.00 and change11/29/08. Well, it's been 2 years since we switched to this venue with BlueHost being our host for these pages. The initial cost was something you all covered, thankfully, and now there is another bill of $200.00 and change that I need help with. Can you help me pay for this so that I do not need to fork out the money for the site AND keep the pages running smoothly? That would be so helpful. If you enjoy these pages, and use them, would you consider donating some money to cover our hosting costs? If you will, please send to me, at: Kathleen Bruce

Nov 23-Happy Thanksgiving-Can you Help me with keeping the pages neat?Nov 23. Hi all. I have gone through all the pages, nearly, and have taken down all old ads that I have found ...except for one page. My hands are tired! Can you please take DOWN the ads when you are done, when your item has sold, or you have found what you need? I would appreciate it tremendously. It 's a ton of work for me to do, and for the two who help me... and it's something that will take you 2 minutes at most. You log in , click on the ad title, and then hit EDIT, and then DELETE. Pictures of Remy!
