August 27 , 2009good morning all.... long time no post. I see that we were able to raise $663 for the Young Writer's Project this summer. It is a good sum, but if you are using the pages and selling or buying just the right items you had in mind, and it's working well for you by using our pages, please consider donating more to them. See the little link to the top right in brown ..click there and feel free to donate, or to go Info on KBBSPIN,org to the right, and click on How to Donate to YWP. Thanks! : ) It's been a busy summer. TWo of my daughters have come and gone back to grad school, Emily in Cambridge England..she's studying viruses, specifically influenza. Martha is studying in Baltimore, violin performance. Sally is doing her last year of high school, applying to colleges ( music schools for violin) and is the concert master of the Vermont Youth Orchestra. Jamie's dad died at the end of May, and we had his service a few weeks back now. We visit his mother often, and talk with her also, and we miss Vic.... It's just not the same without him. I have a back that is misbehaving...everytime I bend over to pick up things off the floor, or laundry folding, etc, I hurt my SI ligaments,..I had one cortisone injection, which helped, but did it again this morning on the OTHER side of my back, and am now sitting quietly with ice packs. Sigh. How are YOU all? I am getting ready to knit Sally a blanket to take to school next fall. Any ideas for patterns? Love, Kathleen kbruce@together.net
