This free site helps fiber enthusiasts recycle and locate spinning, knitting and weaving materials and equipment of all kinds, including fiber and fiber animals. Register and you can post your own ads and photos. To register, click on create new account, complete the form and click submit. All personal material is kept confidential, is not shared and is not accessible to others.

In exchange for this free service, we ask you to donate, if you can, to our favorite charity. We have chosen a new charity for your support: The Young Writers Project, a unique nonprofit that helps students write better. It currently serves thousands of students in Vermont and New Hampshire and may become a model for a national effort to improve students' writing skills. For more on how to donate to YWP, click here.

NEW FEATURE to help you remember to delete your old ads! As you post your new ad, scroll to near the bottom and click on 'Scheduling options.' You will see 'Unpublish on', an empty box underneath and a little calendar under the empty box; click on the calendar; choose a date 30 days hence; then preview and submit your ad as normal and voila! You've made sure your ad will be removed in 30 days. If you sell your item before then, please come onto the site and remove your ad! Thanks.

We are volunteers. We ask in exchange, if you can, to make donations to our NEW favorite tax-deductible charity, Young Writers Project. This organization engages students to write, provides them knowledge to write better and publishes their best work in newspapers, on radio, on stage and on its Web site, www.youngwritersproject.org. This unique, innovative program engages literally thousands of chidren in the excitement of learning to write!

The primary service of this site is that it gives you regular users with accounts an opportunity to post your own ads -- and photos of what you are selling -- and you browsers to take advantage of what's being offered.

If you would like to become a regular user, create an account (click on the button in the upper left), fill out the requested information. We need that information to make sure we limit the site to positive folks who love the world of knitting.

A couple of other features of the site: Email protection -- robots and spammers will no longer be able to sweep the ads for your email address; live news feeds of world and national news -- it is so important for us to stay informed right now; forums on wool -- to share ideas and tips and knowledge; and peace -- can we move mountains? and better organization of the ads. You will notice the categories on the right hand side are the same as on the old site; the links on the list connect you to updated ad lists in the area you want.
